I now produce sobriety greeting cards, have a sober clothing brand, had a short story published, I\u2019ve spoken publicly about my journey and both attended and hosted sober meetups. We chatted to nine sober curious champions about what inspired them to <a href=\"https:\/\/ecosoberhouse.com\/\">https:\/\/ecosoberhouse.com\/<\/a> change their relationship with alcohol, how they overcame challenges and the benefits they have experienced. \u201cYou need food to survive but alcohol is not a nutrient, it\u2019s actually a toxin, and you never need to drink it, period,\u201d Burak says. \u201cHowever, enjoying a drink mindfully like you enjoy an appropriate amount of food can have a similar feeling.<\/p>\n<div style='text-align:center'><iframe width='566' height='318' src='https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/OG--M8B04DA' frameborder='0' alt='Mindful drinkers share their sober stories' allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>The former Made in Chelsea star admitted via an Instagram post that alcohol  had an &#8216;instant negative effect&#8217; on her mental health, while she said not drinking alcohol for 12 weeks has made her skin look better. Having lost her home and children, Becki was living on the streets with winter rapidly approaching. And, honestly, most of the time they don\u2019t have a drop of alcohol in them. I can be at the bars I created and that inspired me, and enjoy the nightlife without plunging myself into the abyss.
